Would anyone suggest getting malaria medication if you are going to Roatan ?

Dengue fever is often a bigger problem here than malaria, especially if you - recommendations on taking the malarial....
As with any medical issue you would be best doesn't prescribe it.
Many do not.

Usually long sleeve in the jungle then yes, by all means, get some anti-malaria medication (as well as noting the above).
If it is to the touristy cities and town, you are highly unlikely to need anti-malaria medication.
