I've heard that i++ isn't a thread-safe statement since in assembly it reduces down to storing the original value as a temp somewhere, incrementing it, and then replacing it, which could be interrupted by a context switch.
However, I'm wondering about...

It may well be that "i++" is thread from memory in one cycle ( lmw ), so I've removed that part of my answer.
You've heard wrong.
The answer is to test the heck out of it .

I'm not a stranger to mime types but this is strange. Normally, a text file would have been considered to be of text/plain mime but now, after implementing fileinfo, this type of file is now considered to be "text/x-pascal". I'm a little concerned because...

It analyzes only a portion of the file in order to try to figure out what type the file is, and as such it can be fooled easily... .

There is a chart that shows a list of common MIME types and their corresponding extensions .

Being a self taught programmer, I base most of what I do on KISS and DRY.
For me they encapsulate complex ideas well and DO help me to write better code.
What else should I know?

I've heard this is as good, or better than Skyrim.
I'm really interested in playing this.
I may buy it this weekend.
I need something to get me away from MW3, as it's all I've been playing for over 2 months now.
Anyone play Witcher?

It's a totally to be one of the least engaging games I've ever played
I'd even take the horrible dragon age 2 over.

Ultimates 3.. I've heard it's terrible but... is it worth reading for continuity and completion reasons?
