New construction, need help picking heat pump, air handler, and heat strip
Must be Lennox brand, per the builder.
2500 sq ft house in Charlotte, NC.
Winters rarely go under 30-35 and are short. Most people here use heat pump.

You have gas as back up heat? 7....
The limitation the outside temp.
But if you want to use backup heat then you need a TH8220 or higher stat.
Set option 170 to 2 If you are not going to use back up heat then yes you can use a th8110.

The grip heat is poor but when I installed hand guards.
Mine have never bike has OEM heated grips (04 single).
Same here ...
And the heat from them is much greater than the factory grips on her F650.

What is the general rule to decide to put box cams in either a heated or non heated enclosure? Do you go by the temp specs on camera?
Im in lower ny...easy winter this year, sometimes it can go below 25f not often though....I would rather not do a heated...

If its outside you need an environmental enclosure that not only provides heat but ventilation - generate plenty of heat on their own when operating; if you use a SEALED enclosure, it should retain plenty of heat, and if it's not ....

When heat pumps first cane out 25 or so years ago they were deemed to be the best thing since sliced bread. You never hear anything about them anymore.
Anybody have any experience with heat pumps? I get the feeling they are expensive to operate.

My two cents.
Geothermal heat that puked.
However propane backup in the really cold weather or if electricity gets too high priced .
I put an electric heat pump in about 1 1/2 years ago and couldn"t be happier with it.

Just want to see how many MINI owners experienced this to their heated seat. It happened in my 2005 MCS. The heating elements burn/melt holes in my leatherette seat covering. This happened after 1-2 minutes of switching on the heated seat...

I'd cover the entire top of the cage up with foil or plastic and just use an under tank heat like alot.
As long as you have enough of it coiled but not boas .
Heat cable and heat pads/heat tape work about the same....
