The underground from Heathrow is by far group is the best bet in my opinion.

I just read recently in one of the posts that the Hammersmith Flyover (the main route into central London from the airport and the west) is shut at the moment, so the option of National express bus is not advisable... were arriving Feb 5 already at 71...

Overwhelming problems - it might add a bit of time to your travel but you can't properly check from Heathrow, change to District line at Hammersmith and get off at Victoria.

From Marylebone you could take a taxi to Paddington....
Trains from S-u-A go to Marylebone and Euston stations in central London.
Heathrow airport does not have a National Rail station so no, there are no trains from Stratford-upon-Avon to LHR.
