i have a danfoss system.
when hot water is turned on the boiler fires and can be affected by the thermostat on cylander tank
when heating is turned on the boiler fails to fire even when room thermostat is up full...

Hey All,
I have read a good few post on here and here is my problem...
The rad in my bedroom was not heading up. (I actually think this happened not long after I got my boiler serviced but could be wrong).
SO I went and blead the rad, this was fine there...

As storage heaters store heat between 12midnight & 7am,then let out heat during day,if its extra cold & you let all heat out early you cant get anymore.

I even use the central heating to do it in summer, I turn It's cheaper to heat water with your boiler than with electricity especially if you have modern heating controls....
