Morning all
Having spent the weekend ripping up old tiles it looks like I may have a leak in a heating pipe that runs through the concrete floor although not 100% sure
Any PWers plumbing in the Devizes area that could offer an opinion or take a look?

You could also get some stop leak you inject it in to a radiator and put the heating on its like the stuff for cars but made....
Ended up putting new pipes all to build houses.
Even hired one of them heat detecting camera things .
After leak.

Hi could anyone explain to me why on some heating systems with oil and solid fuel installed in a home that both systems cannot be on at same time.would be interested to know the reason or reasons for this.

That is a huge amount of heat entering the slab, for you to no have a warm slab.
No insulation under the slab, and the substrate is wet and drawing the heat out of the slab.

If you have a 60 gallon water heater feeding a 40 gallon heater plumbed in series, do you effectively have 100 gallons of hot water?

You run out to keep up with demand longer because the second heater won't take as long to heat the water up.
As you use hot water, cold water enters the heater and immediately starts to heat up.
