Maybe an obvious answer to this one but here we go:
I am about to fit a Helix clutch to a NA 2 liter 8V tc with 131 flywheel - I need some guidence regarding what quality of bolts to use.

Bolt thickness in the FW.
I did the latter as there were 2x dia.
Are you going to use thru bolts or drill and tap the FW .

Yes, I agree with GC, as I recently did this with a 7.25 Tilton unit .
8.8 grade will easily take the shear load on that .

I made a double helix coil. It was so easy!!! I almost couldn't believe it.
I bought:
5m of 6mm (1/4 inch) copper coil - $29
2x knees 6mm - $5.6
2x compression union 6mm to 10mm (3/8 inch) - $36
2x threaded coupling 10mm (3/8 inch) - $3.2
2x hose connection...

When the coil gets smaller than 2" the tubing flattens out a little inside the spring and you can't get the damn:
I'm glad that I didn't spend money....
Know what I found out? They are worthless on smaller coils .
And bought a bending spring.

I finally got my new suspension in, very pleased with the result.
This is an upgrade from the stock sports suspension, so the ride height is not very changed. Most people would miss it, less than an inch lower so it is not very significant.
