I dont remember them with my first 2 but they are a doozy. Mine are worse when I am at work and I am sitting upward. Nevertheless, any pain that is strong enough to bring a tear to my eye or freeze my body is enough for me to go the the ER. All else I just drink water and breathe through them. source

I'm 14 weeks now with my second and have been having them for a week now. I had them a lot in the third trimester with my DS. I was told as long as they are not painful then it is normal. source

I get about 15-20 a day right now, I am constantly on the go with working full time, the twins and trying to stay up on the house so I get dehydrated and over do it more often than I would like to admit to. Mine aren't painful but are tight enough that it catches my breathe but not from pain, just from tightening if that makes any sense. source

I am 34w2d and I have been having some menstral-like cramps. I have not had any tightening up of the uterus that I can tell and that is what I have heard braxton hicks feels like. Do braxton hicks contractions feel like menstral-like cramps? source
