I have found this helps, but there will be pain when the hip wants to return to the position into my stomach, about an inch or so off my hip bone this pain happens on BOTH sides of the body.
And tendons.

I read Jerman's post on joint pain recently and could relate. I've been having lower back/hip pain for a while now that is getting worse. I went to my dr. and had an x-ray done, but it was negative. He said it's my sacroiliac joint due to the colitis....

Dahl, I've got chronic pain in my hip which pain is very erratic though.
In the mean time I'd recommend a hot tub or warm baths if you can .

Or what I grew up knowing it as: a clicked hip. For me, I was born with my hip joint out of place. I guess at that time (in the 80's), they did not check the hips, or it was missed. My parents had no idea until I was about 4 or 5, and I kept falling down...

95% of the time, the pain is in my left hip of 15, a couple times....
Needless to say, it didn't really help at all.
I haven't actually been diagnosed with it, but after many years of pain pain.
I also have hip dyspasia.
