Is there a historic reason that periods are used instead of any other separator for software versions?
One of our products was previously version 3.5, and now it's 3.08 -- I'm sure this was management saying that putting a leading zero would make it less...

People on continental europe still use a period for version seperation .
It's just a version seperator.
It's not a decimal point.

I have a database that has a list of employees of an organziation. There is one main employee table and number of joined tables.
i want to start to track week over week and month over month metrics on this data so i can do things like:

That way, you can look back into history and generate whatever... .
Once a month run a process to do your counts, and add a row to the summary table representing the data .
If you are just running this on a schedule, then I would create a data summary table.. .

I installed Gibson Historic Plastics on my Les Paul Traditional Pro. I changed the truss rod cover, toggle switch ring and tip, and the pickup rings. I didn't change the pickguard because the color matched. Tell me what you think.
