We are redoing our Subaru service Center in Seattle and have 3 -7000# 2 post above ground hoists for sale. These have been recently serviced and certified and are in excellent working condition. Purchaser will be repsonisble for removal and transportation...

They are all....
They are about 11.5 feet tall at the tallest part .
They are all connected and operating daily.

Seen these Game hoists that can be mounted to the trailer hitch on my truck. Anyone know where i can find one... in or near calgary? Anybody have any experience with these things? Or any home made hoists out there? Pictures would be cool.

Use the search & type in "hoist" or "truck hoist in CTR the other day and noticed their hitch game hoist way in the back hallway.

About manufacturers or suppliers of hoists.
I have a shop with wooden roof trusses and would like to suspend a couple of block and tackle type hoists from the trusses to permit me to lift lawn mowers and other equipment for maintenance purposes.

One of the reasons dvd is right is that some roof trusses are engineered to use the minimum material... .
Very nice is there a question also? The only way you will do this safely is to have the structure analyzed by a structural engineer: in person, on-site .

The girder looks like and side frame, and then the side plate thickness... .
I lifted my AL60 lathe with this hoist without problems (apart from the fairly rickety frame I'm not sure if the weakest link will be some part of the hoist or the girder.
