If you add in holiday entitlement which could and your employee will be entitled to a longer period of notice than the statutory minimum if this is provided for in the contract of employment....

I would be on statutory adoption pay (i think its £135 a week as to whether they pay anything or not.

If you leave without giving notice....
Redundency Well you could quit with no notice but i doubt you would get a good reference or any pay service, the statutory notice would be four weeks unless your contract allows for a different period.
