Was holocaust real?
Anyone that denies the holocaust ever happened is just as guilty as those who were responsible for it and worse for even saying it never happened. God saw it all and we will all be going before Him on judgement day, including those who caused it and deny it.

Could this be the origin of the six million myth of the Holocaust?
Look, all this petty niggling is petty in the face of a very real horror. The six million Jews is just the largest identifiable segment of the eight million corpses that the Nazi Extermination machine created. My Dad, like many WWII veterans, lived with what he saw and heard in Europe for the rest of his life. I saw plenty of photographs of corpses being buldozed into trenches and so forth -- when I saw Lise Modette's beautiful picture of the face of a Nazi Officer submerged in a stream where he had been placed after his murder by newly-liberated camp inmates I could not so much feel pity for him as horror that people could tolerate such moral cesspools.
My Dad would have said "Don't you DARE question the evidence" but I don't even see people like you as questioning the evidence -- you are playing a very cynical game of picking and choosing your facts. The actual numbers do NOT matter because ONE death in those circumstances is a COSMIC OBSCENITY.

Why Is Holocaust Important?
Irony is the same nation that suffered something of the magnitude of holocaust is doing the same with the Palestinians. The only difference is, Germans did it swiftly during few years whereas successive Zionist regimes have been doing it slowly over a period of several decades and will continue to do so until a single Palestinian is remained in the occupied Palestine.

Question About The Holocaust?
No, if someone was demonstrated to be of Jewish ancestry, they were treated the same as other jews. The big difference was that such jews were sometimes able to hide their background and "blend in" with the regular German population. This required fake papers, so not many such jews had this route open to them.
What is interesting is that when Germany marched into Poland, they had a policy of taking children with blond hair and blue eyes, and sending them back to Germany to be adopted. This, even though in most cases there was no way to tell if these children came from "Aryan", Slavic, or jewish ancestors.

Did You Know this about the Holocaust?
I did know that the gay and lesbian population were also a target. I think many of the victims have been overshawdowed by the jewish extermination. I think the reason that the Jewish population was focused on is because they had the largest amount of advocates.
