Hi folks, gawa75 from Northern Ireland here, new baby is due in May and I've two other kids aged 7 and 8. I'm wanting to go on hols to the South coast in August as it's not as hot as the Med (esp with a newborn in tow) but can anyone recommend good places...

It's about 100 years since I was last there, but we always went to Broadstairs, and I've never really found anywhere I liked better for a beach holiday* .

this year im taking 6 weeks off ( all unpaid) i usually take 5 but we are going to florida for xmas.
i told all parents a year advance, and just had a message from parent aksing why?

We normally go to Florida once a year. We don't pay for accomadation as this is sorted. We pay for car hire & flights do 1 of the parks and just do inexpensive things. This year however we have decided to do Europe.

Didn't need it last yr as son was at primary, but his new secondary school class all holidays as truantism.
