Just wondering if you would be able to provide me some recommendations on home owner's insurance providers that have good rates/coverage. I'll be living downtown Toronto (Leslieville) as an FYI

Make sure your insurance stays at 100% replacement, not 80% but fight them on the difference.
If the appraisal includes the actual land, they're even farther off .

I was listening to my local news tonite & they were answering questions about insurance, how to lower it, & also some do's & don'ts, so they mentioned 4 dogs that you HAD to report to your ins co , cause if they would bite someone your ins co might not...

Received a call today. HO claims his detached garage and part of his home caught on fire. I asked who I would be dealing with for payment. He said He would be paying the bill.
I have never quarterbacked a fire job before. Any insight will be appreciated...
