I've been reading its a bad idea to use your 401k has a downpayment. But when I ran the numbers, it didn't seem that bad if it can avoid PMI costs...
My company's 401k home loan structure:
- 3.25% rate, up to 20yrs repay
- $50 fee and no maintenance fee...

Are you saying taxed twice because when I withdraw the money at retirement I'll be taxed, and because the interest I paid ....
Remember that PMI is tax deductible while in myself.
To keep payment the same and get money back into 401k funds.
