For those on replacement hormones, were you able to halt the changes? Maybe even reverse some undesireable body weight redistribution? Thicken the skin up a bit? If so, what are you taking exactly and how long did it take to see the physical improvements...

I started having massive fluctuations in my personality due to hormones, and my GYN recommended BC, so I got an IUD. Whew, what a relief to be the SAME person all month long. Unfortunately, a side effect was an increased libido. Which sucks. Seriously...

Many hormones by taking bio identical....
(They even said I couldn't take OTC Estroven when I was having issues with hot flashes.) But I agree with you that balanced hormones make sense.
Both said the same thing- no hormones of any kind.
