Think of as horror in movies us, in our genre, splatter punk or slasher porn, gore for gore's sake the horror tropes you typically see in a horror movie, such as, Don't Answer the Phone, etc.

Any other horror movie fans out there? It is easily my favorite genre of movies. I've seen hundreds.
I love them all: American horror films, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, French and Mexican ones as well.
Haven't seen a good recent one in a while. Any recommendations...

A good non-horror recent film he came out with is 13 Assassins, although my friends tell me it is very good....
Audition, it's an asian film with subtitles and Visitor Q make Audition look tame .
Haven't liked horror pics since The Exorcist...

Come out of Hollywood in the last 5 years. I'm talking MAJOR motion picture releases. This will be interesting. Because right now, I honestly can't think of one. Perhaps it's because I'm sick and I have a fever.

One off horror films are much better.
Neither are scary and they both become predictable the more they continue, so I would say neither .
Saw, without question.
It's all just torture porn to me.

The situation and plot....
Some of the most effective horror stories get across that idea that no one factor.
I don't read/watch much Horror anymore, frankly, because so very little of it makes me afraid and gives also--I agree with that.
