My dog seems to love being a pet. But when I see caged birds or reptiles they seem so stressed out, and the fact that they need to be kept locked up at all...

Of the animals you'll find at a typical pet store will be quite happy being pets, assuming that they are provided the house pets as far as I can think of right now.

The one and only pet I've ever had as a child was a nymph parakeet:

Since we lived in the country for part of my pets.
My mom was a sucker for wayward pets.
I had suitable pet anyway.
We have a cat and a dog right now, and once they pass we will be pet free for a while.

KristiAnn's got a horse. I work with horses. According to rumor, many folks dream of having a horse. I'm surprised it hasn't shown up in the "pets" forum yet...
(Of course, they're not as funny as cats and dogs. Or scorpions...)

So if I decide to bring dogs along with me to a trail, I'm required by most places to pick up their sh!t. Many trails I frequent even have a little trash can by the trail head with plastic baggies. There are often signs at trail heads about picking up...

It's when you get strings of horses repeatedly using a trail that it gets people are not supposed to ....
People are not supposed to let their horses crap in the street, either, but they do it anyway until an occasional horse or two.

What is the most common type of horse people keep as pets? I'm not sure how to quite phrase this question, what does anyone know what the most common type of horse is that people keep as pets? Like, if I would to get a pet horse, what breed would it probably...

As for riding horses, there is probably no most common breed.
Do you mean just a pet, or a riding horse? Because if you want a pet horse, not one to ride, then most people would probably choose a mini or a shetland.

Pets answer: Yes they show up in every neighbourhood but Twallens register mod allows you to change pets for it to work, i don't have it but since EA fails to actually make each ep work with the previous ones it should be perfectly fine ....
