Howdy,
For obvious reasons, Arabs excel at endurance racing, but why is it that quarter horses don't have as good a rap sheet, besides the potential lack of stamina compared to Arabians? I've been told that they over heat more often compared to Arabians...

Is there any training advice out there to help keep my horses hind quarters under and collected? My gelding moves quiet nicely, however I cant seem to keep his hind end in when we are working on circles/even straight lines - he really likes to throw it...

Try keeping him round and collected up front so he's moving in an "up hill" movement rather than letting it hang out... .
The fear of a Scot rogering him will cause him to naturally collect in his hind quaters .
Have mock ups of Scottish men around the arena.
