Probably a silly first-time-mom question....but do you pack a duffle bag/hospital bag AS WELL as a diaper bag? Or do you just pack your hospital bag with things you'll need for your stay and leave the diaper bag at home?
Also, when do you start preparing...

The hospital will provide you with diapers, wipes, plain white shirts (newborn size and 0-3, just in case) and lotion....
The only thing you really need for the baby is a going home outfit .
Everything else the hospital should provide.

I've consistently leaked after each of my births all over the hospital are coming so I feel a little more put together and covered.
There and/or have a few changes of clothes.

Hi, was anyone else told to bring their own pump to the hospital? I went on the birthing center tour and they told me that since my pump is not Medela to bring it to the hospital, otherwise I would be charged for Medela parts for using the hospital pump...

I am on Tricare standard and will be having my baby via c section(medically necessary) at a non-military hospital. I know everything is covered except the hospital stay. I was just wondering how much other ladies have paid for their hospital stay?

I had my youngest dd at a civilian hospital far from an MTF, but we were on Prime and didn't I never saw a bill.

Just wanted to mention, that the hospital their in Del Rio is really great. I also had an x-ray done there, and their Radiology staff is very wonderful. Friendly hospital.
