Note: I originally set setup logo, I meant startup logo. This system has had Windows installed for awhile now.

The ATI 4800 series of GPUs are notoriously hot, and the reason is that the auto fan control defaults.
Although the card can easily cope with temperatures beyond 100c, 79c idle is too high, should.

Ok, given the current hot snap we are experiencing here, I was wondering if people set a max temp they will walk in, and what is it? Here in Pt Augusta we are hitting 40+ degrees and I have to admit, I can think of nothing worse than the idea of lugging...

The turning off is not done in software, it's an emergency, hopefully-should-never-happen, last-ditch total cut-off of power by your motherboard .

When shooting my wasr10/63, the barrel seems to get EXtremely hot, to the point that even the wood furniture is hard to hold. Is this normal??

The plate at the end of the handguard still gets hot though.
Just hold the mag as a grip and keep.
My ak74 gets that hot too after 3 mags one after the other.

With a 180° t-stat, my truck runs 180°~185° no matter, 190°~195° would be OK too, as....
That's not too bad, but if I were you, I'd be trying to figure out how to get it to run a little cooler.

Yea its true the XP got another bad flaw as i see it the hole back of the cab melted and caught fire yesterday not nice i put it out but the problem is WTH this was not good my daughter heather was in the pass seat and the back was smokin and she cant...

86 has a rubber seal incorporated to be aware of if your using OEM .
I've used 350 degrees plenty of times, 10 minutes.
