In Chicago you folk cover a hot dog with a salad, in New Jersey they deep fry the dog, in South Carolina they cover a chili-dog with cole slaw, here in California we wrap the dog in bacon before we grill it .

They can call them McDogs XD Because its been tried several times already, and its always failed
Most locations are independently owned (therefore, its up to the owners), and some still do it .

I don't eat a lot of hotdogs but 3 or 4 times a year, I get a hankering for a good hotdog. I guess I just figure the protein product in hotdogs is less than a nutritional ideal and usually I just put ketchup and mustard on them.
