What are the differences between Hoagie and Hotdog? I think it's just a matter of size, isn't it?

A hot dog is a meat product of sorts.
A hoagie sandwich usually has a bunch of deli sliced meats in it .
Also known as a sub roll or grinder roll.
A hoagie is really just describing the Roll part of a big sandwich .
