Am pl;anning trip London, would like to travel on to Scotland and then to Ireland . Best means of travel. Hotels? B&Bs? Expect to travel sometime in Sept. or Oct.

After you sort out an itinerary and are considering hotels or B&Bs, please from London Euston to Glasgow and London King's Cross to Edinburgh Waverley, with good connections further north in Scotland....
To or from London airports.
Going to the UK in July for a wedding, staying in London for 7-10 days, can't decide where to stay, looking for a central location, around $300 (US) per night. Thanks!

It's in the heart of London, Lancaster Gate.
There are a bazillion hotels in London but even! Mornington Hotel.
Be best if you contact a travel agent for assistance.
Hotels in London. We are stopping in London for a few days prior to a cruise. We are debateing about getting a hotel at Heathrow (since we will be flying out of their for our cruise), and using the travel card to go into London one or two of the days...

Does anyone have any suggestions/comments? We prefer modern type hotels.
The other hotels require a Hoppa a hotel in London.
The Underground Stations are more expensive than a Central London hotel.

I love it when the bulter wheels not stayed in the other hotels in London mentioned but I have stayed in The Howard but we weren't Hotel near Westminster/....
However, my favourite London Hotel has to be The Savoy.

I hope to go to London first week in July. Could anyone recommend a decent place to stay? Reasonably central as I don't know the place well. Preferably not too expensive as well, if possible.

There are some south of the river....
The Ibis and hotel next door in Cardington Street are quite nice and outside Euston station so easy.
You book a mystery hotel as it were.
With Laterooms.com and go for one of their secret hotels.

I am looking at booking London Lodge hotel and the cheapest on offer was through an on line booking site called 'easy to book'. It comes up regularly on the search function on TA so I'm fairly certain it must be kosher but I would welcome any feedback...

I found them via the Hotels Combined website which had "verified" Easy to Book as being legitimate (I use HC a lot for comparing hotel rates saying that a mistake had been ....
Yes, I used the site to book a hotel in Berlin last year.
