What payment schedule do you use for small projects (e.g. < $10,000)?
This is the structure I use:
20% deposit before any work starts 70% payment when project gets to 90% completion (I know this based on the project schedule) 10% final payment on acceptance...

I was looking through some MGMA data on physician earnings and while different surgical specialties are compensated differently (on an annual basis), there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference in compensation when looking at it on a per work RVU basis...

If u are after a way to get hours but not much money you could try being an Avon rep I registered as self employed as a rep but only earn about £500 a year after expenses but it worked out with dropping off, packing nd the rest it averaged about 6 hours...
