I know of no plants that will deter them.
In the holes so the mice cannot chew thru.

I haven't a clue when it comes to any sort of knowledge about plants, but I like that they bring a room to life. I work long hours and my living room doesn't get much sunlight. I'm not into flowering plants. I need plants that require minimum maintenance...

We don't have any in our current house because the light is terrible but when we move soon I'd like to get a few that are pretty low maintenance. So what do you recommend?

With a bit of TLC they can usually be revived like Rubber plants, Cheese plants and if you time it right they can be rescued from the likes.
For pot-plants that are Reduced in the garden centres.

I'm having a hard time finding a place with house plants, unless I want to drive 30 minutes to a nearby nursery.
So, just wondering, what did any of you veterans use for your two Identical House Plants? ~Elizabeth
