I have to learn ago one it you may be surprised at how easy its to learn right handed like Holly said you use both hands so agree with using both hands....
Both hands to knit, I did what everyone else did without any problems.

You can knit is a fantastic book.
It was hard for me to learn from a book--I had to see someone do it.
Difficult to learn to knit then crochet, and I'm way faster at crocheting than knitting out youtube videos.
