If you want to raise your solar panels for the winter months and don't want to build a raised rack for a lifting mechanical device I have found a way to do it if your panels sit close to your roof.

I think I just learnt about how why a 190watt 45volt panel is only 5.5volts.

Anybody know the measurements of the westy luggage rack indentation off the top of your head? Mine is an 82 if that makes a difference. I'm planning on putting a solar panel up there.
