I had been trying to work out why i was getting vapor lock in the carby,it had no mixture screws to adjust as it was a sealed unit.
I had very few options so in the end i added more oil,it started of as a standard mix of 200ml oil to 5 litres fuel.

It is possible to fill the cartridges with your own oil but I'm not sure how hard got more units in! In both....

My 8BA runs real fine. starts good cold and starts good warm, ( as long as it is restarted within 15 minutes of being off ) after that it acts like it is vapor locked. it will spin over as it seems not fireing, then l need to pull the choke out about ...

Tony paleot is correct, i also dont think its vapor lock, when you turn engine off temputure rises on the intake manafold from the exhaust as you can, to close....
Does not sound like vapor lock to me sounds like carb is leaking down on you.
