Hulu is launching its first original scripted show, a political comedy , that will air during the upcoming presidential primaries. First Netflix, now Hulu, kinda makes you wonder who else is going to come out with a show.

If I only watch a few shows ota can hulu plus replace a htpc dvr setup? My gf subs to hulu but I haven't used it a whole lot myself. Also our local cw is not in hd and the shows look better just streaming them. Not much happening ota that I have a interest...

Thanks I rely on Hulu as a DVR, and NetflixI have Hulu Plus and I can watch most recent shows except CBS shows, you won't get local news with Flash.
I don't watch sports and rarely record the news.

Between Netflix and Hulu Plus you'll have access to tons of good kids' content - and my favorite part choices for hulu plus and really it doesn't look that great to me.

If you want to record OTA - look for the Channelmaster 7000 DVR.
The 500 series DVRs won't record anything but off the satellite.
No subscription = no recording.
