Good evening my fellow attention and rest challenged folk.
Its 11.15pm and my exam season begins tomorrow.
I AM FU**ED. My uni have been kind enough to set my exam at 4pm till 7pm (I have an extra 30 mins to complete and an hour in breaks for the ADHD...

Can you do this? when do you ordinarily peak with attention? The middle of th night I'm a night owl..probably 11am midday 2pm latest as far as meds go its downhill from there ... .
I would simply move my meds around later so that I PEAK attention at 4-7pm .

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who finds it incredibly hard to sit and watch TV or a DVD, no matter how much I might want to, I struggle to sit for long enough. I came across this article this morning and thought it might be useful to "train" yourself...

Im on day 3 of these anti depressants and there making me feel worse that without.
Its quite funny really as im more creative with them but i just cant be bothered doing anything.
About an hour after taking them i have to go to bed as im falling asleep...

Many TCAs and some non-TCA anti....
But if its making you feel too dysfunctional to do anything, i'd contact your GP just to be on the safe side .
Anti Depressants (unlike stimulants) can require some time before you begin to notice any marked improvements .

My 6 Year old is also on Adderall XR and has been for a couple of years now .
It is quite possible that the difficulty sleeping is a result from the Adderall XR .
