Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac. If you are indeed running a G5 and not an Intel, you are out of luck when it comes to Netflix.

An Intel processor can not be installed in the G5 model. The "equivalent" of the iMac G5 is the new iMac in either 21.5" or 27Sorry, Leopard 10.5.8 is the highest possible for the G5. That has the Intel processor.
