I am about to release my first app to the iTunes store. What version of the iPhone/iTouch should I be targeting to hit the most people?
The default in XCode is 3.0.

The iPhone OS is backward....
You should target the lowest dependency, if your application builds and works for the iPhone 3.0 an article with the statics (this one actually puts iPhone adoption of the OS at 44% and iPod Touch at 1%).

Is there some kind of iTouch case tht makes the iTouch the size of an iPhone so it fits in iPhone cases? A friend of mine uses an iPod touch cover and an iPhone case on top. It just happens to fit snugly, but is there any case specialy made for this reason...

ITouch can't make calls. iTouch tends to be darker compared to iPhone when it comes to videos. iTouch picture is clearer.
