When I connect my iPhone 3GS to my MacBook Pro, iTunes "freezes": the spinning beachball appears, and it will not respond to any mouse clicks or key presses. Activity Monitor shows iTunes as "Not Responding".
The iPhone indicates that it is being charged...

I also had the same problem with iTunes hanging on me, and indeed, iTunes....
After I let it sit with iPhone connected and iTunes frozen for about twenty minutes, iTunes finally, or if other users have similar problems to discuss.

ITunes 8 includes Genius, which makes playlists from songs in your library that go great together. Genius also includes Genius sidebar, which recommends music from the iTunes Store that you don't already have.
With iTunes 8, browse your artists and albums...

To various forums the problem only seems to happen in Vista, although sometimes ITunes 8 causes CD/DVD and it would appear that ITunes....

Wasn't it the update to explicitly block the Palm Pre from syncing
with iTunes? Apple? I could write a
program that could parse the iTunes Library XML file, show a simple
GUI, and copy.
