For example, although I have iTunes pinned to the taskbar, when I click it, it opens another iTunes icon for the actual process. Is there a fix?

Unpin the older icon, close iTunes, re like.
Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
I noticed that the iTunes 8 icon died and I had to unpin it, but when I opened 9, I told it to pin and it works fine.
An issue with iTunes 9.

I've got an iPhone app with icon file Icon.png.
This icon shows up properly when the app is on the phone itself, but it doesn't show up in the applications pane in iTunes.
What do I need to do to get it to show up properly?

Actually, it is possible to provide iTUnes icons for iPhone software released as ad-hoc.
The application icon only shows up in iTunes if your app is distributed through the app store.

What is the best way to create apple iPhone/iPod shaped icons, ideally there should be a website that you can upload images to and have an them shaped to the default shape, etc.

Having said that, I've seen (literally) one or two apps that have non standard shaped icons so maybe there's a way around using the SDK method.

How can I uninstall iTunes and Safari, and would doing so break anything else?

However, while you can probably safely ignore iTunes, I think Safari updates are also is in the default spot, type: sudo mv....
You can probably find ways to hack or break parts of the app, or the icons you again.

Anyone's jailbroken iPad on iOS5 not downloading images and icons on the AppStore? I'm having plenty of missing icons and preview images for apps. The same goes for the iTunes and iBooks stores.
