Beach right in front of Iberostar is very nice and great for swimming.
Beach by Palace of the hotel.
Food wise/service it's comparable.
Iberostar is set in a jungle.
Different experience.

Last year when I contacted Iberostar in Mayan Riviera they responded the same day.
This is unusual for Iberostar.
Getting response very quickly when contacting the other hotels.

Iberostar are in the process tour operators, but as Iberostar....
It is the former NH Krystal (which was El Senador before that) .
Yes , Im pretty sure is the NH, Iberostar took over all the NH properties at the beginning of this year.

Such definitions are very subjective and everyone will have a different... .
You say that you are worried about the beach at the Iberostar and if it will have a tropical/lush feeling.
To the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in June so will know more.

The 3 Iberostar resorts and the Grand that you are referring to are on the mainland.
It's a nice place.
The rooms are on the small side.
The grounds are gorgeous and spread out.
It's just Iberostar.
