Start....
Write a thread that does a simple query every few minutes .
Also, like the article you linked to said, set the AUTO CLOSE property to false .
You do have to implement a method to poll the database every so often .
That behavior is not configurable.

I'm trying to find out when a process has stopped doing his work. I've been trying it with this code but it doesn't notice that the program is still running and processing a file. Probably because it's still doing things that take less then one microsecond...

Why not just have the other process use a named event to signal when it is done?
If you know that the work is being ... .
Trying to spot when another process is idle doesn't seem like a very solid approach.
I'd go back and look at your design here.

Then see what happens if you pull the vac hose off the dizzy while the engine is idling (before.
Possibility for air leaks, so try rocking the carb around a bit (gently) while the engine's idling, see to it as above.

Once the choke is fully opened....
It is useful only during warm-up, as it opens the choke flap slightly after the engine fires up, and then a bit more once the engine has been running a short while .
Pull down unit does nothing once the engine is fully warm .

At any throttle opening the FZ.
I've also got a Suzuki SV650 with a manual choke and the FZ idling feels like when I leave the SV on choke, ie as if the idling mix is too rich.
It starts to to hunt.
