MIL-C-5040H Type III
Looking for the best price on genuine mil. spec. MIL-C-5040H type III 550 cord. Any suggestions on venders? I am not interested in the "almost mil. spec" commercial grade cord. Thanks much.

I read the document entirely and Type III 550 cord and the other a tighter wrapped 3-ply.
Of Mil-C-5040 and the number of core strands.

Opinions wanted on this please. I've loved the sound of my Shures since the first one I bought for almost $80 when I was working for $2 an hour. My Dual 1219 that I bought used has a bad rumble in it. Should I stick with the Shure? Am I putting new wine...

I have a V15 III.
Neither jumps out at me as the turntable for the Shure V15 III.
I second the Rega Hall MMF-5.1.
....The Shure V15 III with the spherical stylus sounded great in the Grace 707 arm.

Looks like it'd be a good little car once it's put .
Sorta.
I kinda know a few things about Type 3's.
No way to test it without a running ..
As Type 1, with slightly different gearing in some years.

I was looking at a Remington Rand today and noticed that although it is overall in very good shape, there is a nick, or a small amount of metal damage on the slide stop cutout. In fact, it looks just like the nick in the first two pics here: http://www...

To me, it looks....
It ain't 95% either.
I'd stay clear of this one for $1700.
It has the wrong trigger too.
Sorry, I'm not seeing the damage you're trying to refer to .
This one is overpriced.
I would be more concerned about the frame and slide not matching .

Type 3 others (as you mention) say it's insulin-resistant Type 1 (or even insulin-deficient Type 2).
Ya, insulin helps a bit too.
About it.Properly treatment and morning walk is best solution.
