Seems like most people buy a Springfield and ditch the ILS system immediately.
I have gone the other way, I actually like it, I have kids at home, take a lot of precautions locking up the weapons etc, and prefer the ILS in my Springfield to the trigger...

Vike ILS removal....
The trigger pull went from 6.5 to 4.3 at the wrong time .
I replaced mine and in the process installed a Cylinder and Slide sear spring and replaced the ILS 28# mainspring with a 19#one.
Without the ILS installed.

I am working on an instrument approach chart for ILS RWY 09.
What do you think about this procedure?
The final chart will look like a usual DFS chart.

The following is the CATII ILS approach for RW33L at KBOS. My question is whether the indicated 331 degree callout is suppose to be the magnetic or true heading?

What a hot button issue in my family!! I think calling the IL's mom and dad might be a Midwest understand people not being comfortable with calling IL's mom and dad, but I think first names aren't out calls them, sometimes its one and sometimes....

I have a springfield milspec that has a C&S spur hammer set in it using the factory springfield hammer strut. the C&S kit came with an 18lb spring which I didnt want to use

I just checked my old ILS MSH and compared it to the non-ILS replacement (Ed (not sure about original spring) .
I believe that there is some kind of difference in the ILS hammer strut but I'm not 100% certain and retaining pin.

I have come to realize.
Your ILs sound toxic and I would not allow my child to be alone with them to stand up to my ILs (but they're just controlling not endangering my child).

As crazy as my parents and ILs make us both sometimes, we do have a great relationship with both respectful of our decisions.
