I use craftsman impact 1/2" air impact and socket set....
Been using professionally for a long time and snap on impact guns are always the ones that last, especially if you take care of em.
And the closest ir isn't that much cheaper.

I'm looking into getting a cordless compact impact wrench or driver. Which do you guys use? My buddy has the snap on that is ridiculously powerful and expensive, so of course i want one too, however he's a mechanic so he can justify spending $350-$400...

The ones I've got are more and it's still going strong .
Although old stanleys are pretty good too.
IR for air impact.
Get a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter, I cant stand em .
Go with a craftsman impact wrench.
I have years of experience with this.

That completely depends on the complexity of the control you're loading into the page .

Does the 'instanceof' keyword bear with it a relatively heavier impact on the Android platform (and more speciffically the mobile phones running the Dalvik VM)?
