Now, I know that I can play a beep of a set duration with Console.Beep , but what I'm looking for is a way to indefinitely play a sound of a certain frequency, like a start and stop function. Any ideas?

I need to play a "horn" sound when a user touches the screen.
The horn sound needs to play for as long as the user's finger remains in contact with the screen.
The ending of the sound effect will be different. Imagine the horn "petering" out at the end...

I think you can create a good duration sound file that includes the final 'petering out' sound at the end .
I'm not experienced with audio programming on the iphone.

It probably has something to do with limited size....
Through experimentation, I have seen that the iPhone will refuse to draw a frame that is bigger than 2000 pixels in either height or width .
I think this is a limitation of the iPhone graphics hardware .

You can push quite a lot of view....
Option number (2) looks good.
So keep one TableView and have a datasource for people, then companies, etc.. .
No need to create multiple TableView's, what I've done in the past is simply re-bind to a different datasource .
