I am finishing off testing a multi-threaded application that seems to work fine until I put it under heavy load and then stress the machine it is running on as well. Then I start seeing some of the stranger edge-cases that I did not foresee produce some...

It isn't actually the heavy load that produces....
Threading problems due to improper locking tend to reveal themselves under heavy load because the timing changes .

DH and I both got food poisoning.
Id hope not, I've been eating both like crazy the last few weeks D: I went into labor 2 days after eating a lot of eggplant parm, but it could be a cooincidence! For DD1 I made eggplant parm .

A family member of mine wants to induce labor 2 weeks early so her baby will be born on a holiday. Will a doctor seriously do that?

I wouldn't want to induce anyways, but I would probably try to wait another week.
CS are usually scheduled for 39 weeks.
People induce all the time at 38 weeks so I can't see why not.
As it is fullterm.

I am just curious if anyone has tired safe ways to induce labor, did it work??? i am fullterm already and doc said go ahead and do what is safe to get her out! sex is outta the question since dh doesnt wanna give it up, i been walking up and down hill...

No! At 38 not to induce based on that alone.
Because they are just guesses, no, I would not induce based on ultrasound size.

My doc says it's hard for her to induce before 39 weeks, but I guess that's good they will consider inducing....

And it's a uterine tonic, not really to induce labor but to prep your uterus to be all it can be :)
This is my 3rd it :) ) Also, a lot of people may tell you red raspberry leaf tea...this won't induce labor, it just helps.
