I have Fibromyalgia. For those that don't know, its a chronic pain condition that is usually treated with strong medications. Being pregnant, my options for relief are seriously limited. I usually choose to cope without medication but even those options...

If you are in extreme pain, I could see maybe inducing at 40 weeks, but I think it would it's not like you're inducing way early or anything.

DH will be deploying a couple of days before my due date, and will be gone for at least the baby's 1st yr, if not a little longer. We're debating inducing (if I don't go into labor early) as it's our 1st and he'd like to be home for birth. Soonest Dr....

Babies come when they come because that's when they're ready .
But personally, I would never induce early for anything other than true medical necessity.

Please take care of yourself, it's not just your life and at 37 weeks your little one is almost here .
You don't want to take alternative measures to induce labor unless under a doctor's supervision, really NOT good for you OR your baby.

Finally what does your gut say.
Before agreeing to an induction, I would ask if it's medically neccessary, and what the benefits and risks of inducing verses waiting to go naturally.
Never even mentioned inducing to me.

Best: Freshly baked bread.
Worst: Rotting dead animal in the lot across the street that had to be removed by animal control....

I met with perinatology today and they did an ultrasound. Baby is measuring right at 35 weeks, and wiggling all around. They're thinking he's at 5lbs 14oz ISH. The downside is that there really isn't a lot of fluid in there, and we know that his lungs...
