IPSentry is another small, inexpensive but effective tool.
It's not free, but it's relatively inexpensive (I think about $1200), easy to set up version that cover small networks.

Much better to be safe than sorry ....
Regardless, you should always keep virtual memory on even if you do have enough since it will only ever be used when you actually need it .
2GB is not nearly enough to even consider this.
Don't disable virtual memory.

Well, Visio is my favourite, but....
Visio can do this, but Balsamiq (as suggested by sblair) looks like it's a lot easier to use .
If you are simply looking to design a GUI, rather than implement a working prototype, then Balsamiq Mockups may be useful .

I frequently see super cheap keyboards on Newegg for about $4 to $5 including... .
Toss them when they get dirty/stop working.
They are so cheap now, that it might make sense to just buy a box of 10 or so .
You might actually not need to get ruggedized keyboards.
