Hi Dick I did this trip but in reverse, from Grafton to Glenn Innes at Xmas on our way south from Glenn Innes up to Tenterfield and then across to Tabulum and take the well formed and graded of the way I know ) you can go from Glenn Innes....

I have the marriage cetificate....
William was born in Elgin Scotland and he married Elizabeth Wright Stokes .
He was one of about 10 children and his father was William J Innes.

Dunno but he has an exceedingly good compost formulae Ta ! PMSL I found this some time ago -http://www.johninnes.info/about.htm I think you'll have to copy and paste. .
Hope I'm doing this right. I'd like to post a poll for Michael Innes. he may be considered a little too much of a 'dons delight', but for ingenious and inventive plotting, rich characters, and a dry witty style, i find him hard to beat. I can r-read him...
