Programs which are longer in length.
Hejane, there are also faith based rehab.

I was totally worn out and didn't even do anything other than lie on my back care .
He came home after 4 wks inpatient rehab then was transferred to the rehab.
And it took him a few days to find his flow.. .
A colleague of mine is trying to get figures on the typical PT to patient ratio for inpatient rehab. His therapists are fighting him by saying they can't see more than 4 patients a day. What is everyone else seeing at your facilities? If more than 4:1...

My husband is doing pretty well in rehab - progress is slow, but I see positive changes every day. His "case manager", a sweet young thing who has not been very helpful, says that a typical stay in the acute care facility where he is currently staying...

I believe he only spent about two weeks in inpatient....
In fact, at this point I have been told directly that based upon their evaluations he will not benefit enough from inpatient rehab to offer that option.
