i have a big problem with my macbook...i can't insert a Dvd in!
there's no DVD inside...i don't know what the problem is!

My hard disk crashed and I need to reinstall Mac OS X. I restart, insert the installation DVD, press c on the keyboard and the dvd ejects. I've tried different DVDs, even CDs. It's a Macbook Pro from march 2008.
Is it broken? Or can it be something more...

Windows 7 is not recognizing my external display on my MacBook Pro. It has an NVidia GeForce 9400, but windows is just using it's generic pnp driver. I've tried downloading updates from NVidia, but they are not installing. Has anyone solved this one yet...

My Macbook was stuck yesterday, when I tried to paste 1200 lines of 80 characters to Vim. It was much faster to download the file, and not to paste the text.
I have thought that this problem might be the reason, why internet operators allow slower uploading...

I have tried on Windows and Linux, and haven't seen any problems .
Did you try paste mode? set paste / set nopaste?
I don't know if this is a Mac issue or something else, but I have no problems whatsoever with pasting that amount of text in Vim .
