I wanted to love the Kinvaras so badly, after hearing all the praise from people - but I tried both the Kinvara 2 and 3, and both didn't feel right on my arch. I think it was something about the shape of my insole - it just felt like it was digging into...

I've common with more minimal shoes....
Definitely try them without the insole if that feels better.
Save me a lot of time.
Not familiar with what the Kinvara looks like under the insole, but there may be more seams there, which forehead...

I just got me a new pair of DC's tonik (vulcanized) and i my heel is kinda sore from a bail, i had this idea to put an extra insole on my shoe, wearing two of them definetly will help the impact, right? does it make any bad? i appreciate the help

Honestly though if you wanna skate vulcs, and have good impact insoles just get any of the tnt series shoes.
It makes the shoe fit smaller when you do this so make sure that youre feet are able to move around .
It defnitely helps.

I LOVED my Ravenna 2's and am pretty bummed they made the 3's noticably wider and deeper. I have already purchased them and am wondering if I should switch out the insole for a thicker one to make up some of the extra room and make my narrow feet fit ...

Any suggestions on insoles? .. I've used the gel stuff and came away with a .. not sure if it made any difference kind of opinion. I'm in the flat footed spectrum, though I've been told. Even by that machine that pushes the $50 "custom" Dr. Scholl's things...

His recommendation is to remove any existing arch support, but not any flat insole that might be present.
