Win XP 3000 n100 0768a56. getting the above stated error while installing the audio driver downloaded from the lenovo website .

If TVSU shows the UAA....
The UAA driver is listed on your.
It should bring up all the drivers for your sound to install.

Some OEM installs fail to install the needed....
The files the OS is looking for should have come with the system files supplied by the PC manufacturer or the Motherboard vendor(motherboard drivers) .
You are describing a driver issue with audio.

And the Realtek AC'97 drivers are not interchangable.
You motherboard appears the Realtek HD sound drivers require the
UAA driver.
These are two different "standards" and UAA is only required
for HD sound.

habe seit ein paar Tagen ein neues Notebook, und wenn ich bei diesem den mitgelieferten Soundtreiber in WinXP installieren will, sagt dieser immer dass das nicht geht weil ein High Definition Treiber von Microsoft fehlt.
